Mensa Christi is the Parish Hall of Edoor St Mary’s Church. The meaning of this Latin word is “Table of Christ” . This name was suggested by the Vicar Andrews Thekkel and he has taken the initiative to build this parish hall. About one and half crore was spend to build up this parish hall. The parish hall was built in association with the School.
The Parish hall is built for marriage ceremonies and other gatherings. Around 400 people can be seated at a time in the hall. Provisions are provided to set centralized air conditioning too in the future. Eventhough the construction is not fully completed, the parish hall is temporarily christened and opened with request from the parish members. The official inauguration will be held later.
